LaRouche PAC to Release Earth's Next Fifty Years

March 19, 2005 —Lyndon LaRouche's Political Action Committee (LPAC) announced today that it will release the first 25,000 copies of Earth's Next Fifty Years, a book of articles by LaRouche, during the week of March 21. This compilation of LaRouche's latest articles on the economic principles required to reorganize the world economy out of its current death agony, is a vital companion to LPAC's current campaign to defeat George Shultz's drive for fascism through Social Security privatization.

"The most essential thing to be said in summary of this book, is that it is published at a time that a rapidly increasing number of relevant press and financial institutions has been warning that the world is now lurching over the brink of a financial crisis beyond the experience of any person living today," writes LaRouche in the book's forward.

"We are caught, like a ship in a storm, within an already onrushing world crisis, which now threatens to plunge the planet as a whole into a new dark age. It were still possible to save the world economy from this horror; but, we shall not survive without abrupt, radical measures which would return us to President Franklin Roosevelt's intended unleashing of his intended, post-war implementation of the Bretton Woods monetary system. We either choose that option, or blame ourselves for the awful things which soon follow."

The Earth's Next Fifty Years contains five recent documents by LaRouche, and the text of his opening remarks to an international seminar on the economic and strategic crisis, which was held in Berlin, Germany on January 12 of this year. Throughout the series, LaRouche concentrates on the crucial ideas of principle which must be adopted, if world leaders are going to prevent the collapse of the current bankrupt dollar-based monetary system, from ushering in a New Dark Age for decades or centuries to come.

The current assault on Social Security, plus the dramatic crisis of the dollar and near-demise of General Motors Corporation, once a company virtually synonymous with U.S. industrial might, not only bear out LaRouche's warnings, but make it urgent that this new book circulate widely now, a LaRouche PAC spokesman said. We expect to continue to expand our assault on the Social Security fraud, he said, by reprinting the pamphlet "Stop George Shultz's Drive Toward Fascism!", of which 1.2 million are already in circulation. Although many sources are reporting that Bush's Social Security fraud is dead, we are not going to stop our campaign until this is verified beyond a shadow of a doubt, he emphasized.
